Equivalance Exam

Candidates trained at a teaching PICU center overseas, but not qualified themselves with an exit examination or certification can apply to appear for this examination conducted by the college. Examination is held for eligible candidates usually around the National Conference of Pediatric Critical Care (NCPCC). Eligibility is based on duration of training (mandatory 2 years in a known teaching center) and duration of experience ( mandatory 4 years). Inclination for teaching, participation in CMEs, paper publications etc. will add to the assets of eligible candidate. Eligibility of the candidate is decided by the teacher accreditation committee and the governing body.
